Premium hunting axe with head weighing 850 g and blade length of 500 mm. The head was created by successive forging of selected Swedish steel and subsequent hardening. The blade is convex ground, mirror polished and perfectly sharp. The handle is made of hickory, the wood of the white walnut, a material that has long proven to be the best for making poplars and handles in general. The axe comes with a hard leather sheath to protect the blade.

• Hultafors axes have been hand forged from Swedish steel using traditional methods since 1697.
• The gradual forging process densifies the steel and thus increases the durability of the axe.
• The head is partially hardened, which means that it is hardest at the blade, which can be easily sharpened if necessary.
• We recommend manual sharpening or resharpening, or using a low-speed grinder with cooling.
• The blade is made of white walnut, hickory wood and is treated with linseed oil.
• It is recommended to clean the top well from time to time, rub it with linseed oil and wipe it dry with a cloth after about 10 minutes.
