Pfanner VENTILATION Pants

The Pfanner VENTILATION Pants are lightweight waterproof pants that are designed for extreme conditions when cutting trees and working in the forest. They are tear-resistant, abrasion-resistant, oil-resistant. Thanks to the KlimaAIR® humidity regulator, they are breathable and ensure optimal circulation of sweat and moisture. The materials guarantee a long service life. On the back, Stretch Flex fabric ensures maximum comfort and mobility. Also available in extended size.

Fabric
On the front is Gladiator rip-stop fabric that is abrasion resistant and destructive will not tear further on its own. This is the ideal protection against needles, thorns and brambles.
StretchAIR elastic fabric is used in the back for mobility and breathability.
Kevlar knee reinforcement and shaped legs that are reinforced at the ends with Kevlar fabric. So you can wear spiked boots in the woods without worrying about tearing your trousers, thanks to Kevlar.

Feature
The trousers have removable inner cuffs to keep dirt and insects out. They are held firmly on the shoe by an elastic band or possibly a hook on the lace. The cuffs can be unbuttoned, inside the trousers they are held by a zipper.
The 3D mesh of the KlimaAIR system inside the trousers promotes airflow between the skin and the outer fabric of the trousers, in combination with the ventilation holes these are the most comfortable anti-cut trousers on offer. Airflow can be regulated by the wearer using the ventilation pockets on the groin.
The trousers are cut-resistant according to EN 381-5, which every woodcutter will be familiar with. This model meets class 1, i.e. protection against cutting up to a chain speed of 20 m/s. Underneath the main fabric, long Dyneema fibres are hidden in the front, which, in the event of contact with a running chainsaw, become tangled in the chain and stop the saw in a fraction of a second.

Washing instructions
Pfanner Schutzbekleidung recommends washing the trousers once a week for everyday wear. Washing the anti-cut fabric does not harm it in any way, on the contrary, strong saturation with sweat is more harmful, the individual fibres can stick together over time. We recommend washing the trousers at a maximum of 40 °C without fabric softener on the lowest speed.
