How to identify the roof type on your car

The DE generation uses two different mounting systems. Either the vehicle has flush rails lying directly on the roof without any gap, or it is a version with a bare roof. A bare roof has no raised guiding elements on the surface, and the roof rack feet are clamped under the body lip in the door area.

A look at the upper edge of the roof will immediately tell you which category your car belongs to. If you are not sure, send us a side photo of the vehicle and we will determine the correct mounting type for you.

Pay attention to the production year and generation

The year 2013 was a milestone for this model as generations alternated. If your vehicle was manufactured in the first half of 2013 and belongs to the older generation, the correct solution is offered in the sister category C4 Grand Picasso UA.

When choosing a set, check the package contents in the product detail, as individual variants differ in their composition. If your car has a glass roof, check the vehicle manual for the manufacturer's recommendations regarding its load or opening.

Luggage transport with full occupancy

When using all seats, the luggage compartment is significantly reduced. A roof box or bicycle racks allow you to take a stroller and holiday gear without restricting the crew in the cabin. Keep in mind that the maximum roof load includes not only the cargo itself, but also the weight of the roof box and crossbars. The exact limit is stated in the vehicle manual.

Choose a set according to the mounting type on your car. Other versions can be found in the C4 Grand Picasso category, and the complete model range is concluded by the Citroën brand.
