You can recognize raised roof rails by the fact that they stand above the roof and you can easily slide your fingers between them and the roof along their entire length. The roof rack foot clamps them from both the outside and the inside during installation.
Before attaching the feet, we recommend cleaning the surface of the roof rails from settled dust so that the rubber contact surfaces firmly adhere to a clean base.
We offer both steel and aluminum crossbars. Steel bars have a rectangular profile, and accessories are generally mounted to them using clamps or U-bolts. Aluminum versions have a more aerodynamic shape and a slot in the top edge of the profile intended for inserting T-bolts.
If you already have bicycle holders or a roof box at home, focus on the method of attaching them to the bars. Always verify the exact scope of delivery and package contents of each setup in the detail of the specific product.
The Actyon has a sloping rear end, so when securing a longer load or a roof box, check the distance from the open tailgate. Move the box forward along the crossbars so that the trunk door does not hit its rear edge.
