XLV vehicles from this period come with raised roof rails that stand above the roof, allowing you to easily slide your hand under their profile along the entire length. The rack feet are secured by clamping around the body of the rail.
Before installation, make sure the surface of the roof rails is clean and free of dust or grease deposits. A firm fit of the rubber parts of the feet against the clean metal or plastic of the rail helps ensure the stability of the entire load while driving.
