The first generation with the code designation X117 was produced from 2015 to 2019. The second generation X118 came to the market in 2019. When choosing a rack, the exact production date recorded in the vehicle registration document is important, because a generation change took place in 2019. Each of them requires a different mounting kit adapted to the specific roof curvature.

If you plan to carry a roof box, check its position relative to the tailgate. The rear spoiler must not hit the rear of the box when the trunk is fully open.
