Most models of this brand use two types of mounting. The first are raised rails, which stand above the roof profile with a free space between them and the bodywork. You will find them, for example, on the Clubman model or on selected versions of the Countryman. The second type are flush rails, which lie directly on the roof along their entire length without a gap. These are found on other versions of the Countryman, the 3-door and 5-door MINI hatchback, and the Paceman model. Each system requires a different type of mounting foot.
