The first generation of the 208 has no factory-prepared mounting points on the roof. The rack is therefore secured using shaped clamps directly onto the upper door frame of the bodywork.
Before fitting the feet, we recommend thoroughly cleaning and degreasing the paintwork at the contact points. Tiny dust particles under the rubber pads could cause unnecessary paint abrasions when driving with a load.
The year 2019 was a milestone for this model. Production of the first-generation A9 was ending and the newer P21 generation took over. If your car has a first registration year of 2019, verify from your vehicle registration document or exterior appearance which exact version you have, as the door clamps are not compatible.
