The E-Rifter offers a high cabin, which also means a higher positioned roof. When installing crossbars and securing cargo, it is worth opening the side doors and stepping onto the sill, or using a stable step.
With a roof box or bicycle racks mounted, the height of the car will increase noticeably. Therefore, watch out for height limits when entering underground garages, car washes or covered parking houses.
The crossbars form the base on which you can mount ski racks, bicycle racks or a luggage box. The method of attaching your accessories depends on the profile of the bars, so check in advance whether it requires clamping into the T-track in the crossbar or a clamp around the profile.
Always check what exactly the packaging of the selected set contains in the detail of the specific product. Do not forget that the total permitted roof limit also includes the rack itself together with empty accessories; the exact value is stated in the vehicle manual.
