This version of Arona comes with raised rails. You can recognize them by the fact that they stand above the roof profile and along their entire length there is a free space between them and the bodywork where you can easily slide your hand.
The rack feet attach directly around these rails by clamping their profile. Since this is a precisely specified type of attachment, the rack sits stably on the roof.
Arona's compact trunk fills up quickly during a family trip or a longer journey. Crossbars serve as a supporting base to which you can attach a roof box, bicycle racks or ski holders.
If you already have your own equipment, make sure in advance how it attaches to the crossbar profile. Some boxes and holders require a T-track in the crossbar, while others use U-bolts around the load bar. When packing, also keep in mind that the total roof load limit includes the weight of the crossbars themselves and the empty box. This limit is stated by the manufacturer in the vehicle manual.
