For Audi, the mounting type depends primarily on the body style. Sedans and five-door Sportback versions, such as the A3, A4 Sedan or A5 Sportback, typically feature a bare roof. In such cases, the rack is mounted directly under the door frame using specially shaped feet.
Avant estate versions and most Q-series SUV models use flush roof rails. These lie flat against the roof along its entire length with no gap underneath. Conversely, Allroad models and some older estates feature raised roof rails that stand above the roof profile and can be easily grasped by hand during installation. Each of these three variants requires a different foot pack system.
Hatchbacks and sedans: A1, A1 Sportback, A3, A3 Sportback, A4 Sedan, A5 Sedan, A5 Sportback, A6 Sedan.

For Audi setups, you can choose between steel or aluminium crossbars. Steel bars with a rectangular profile provide a solid foundation for occasional material transport. Aluminium profiles feature an aerodynamic shape that reduces wind noise at highway speeds, and they have a top T-track for attaching sports equipment carriers.
