The 3 Series sedan has gone through several generations, and each of them requires a differently shaped mounting kit. The older generation E46 covers production years 1998 to 2005. Its successor E90 covers the period from 2005 to 2011. Following that came the F30 generation produced from 2011 to 2019. The newer model carries the designation G20 and its production started in 2018.
When choosing, follow the production year listed in your vehicle registration document, as the date of first registration may be delayed.
