Citroën C3 Aircross comes in two generations that differ fundamentally in their roof design. Choose your vehicle's generation and proceed to select the correct crossbars.
To select a suitable roof rack, the production year listed in your vehicle registration document is decisive. The first generation, designated 2C, rolled off the production lines from 2017 to 2024. Subsequently, in 2024, the second generation CC24 arrived, bringing different body shapes and a new cargo mounting system.
Depending on the production year, head directly to generation 2C or to the newer generation CC24.
Generation 2C uses raised rails. These are characterized by standing above the roof surface with a free space along their entire length between the rail and the sheet metal, where you can easily slide your hand. The rack foot is secured by clamping around them.
With the CC24 generation, the situation has changed. There are vehicles with a bare roof featuring no protrusions, where the feet are anchored to the door frame. The second variant features flush rails that lie flat against the roof along their entire length with no gap underneath. Crossbars cannot be interchanged between generations as the mounting system works on a completely different principle.
The compact crossover offers a spacious interior for daily commuting, but when packing for a skiing trip or family camping, the trunk fills up quickly. Crossbars allow you to move bulky cargo outside.
The vehicle's height is convenient for handling, allowing you to mount bike racks and roof boxes from the ground without having to step on the door sills. If you plan to carry a longer roof box, check during installation that it does not interfere with the open tailgate to avoid damaging the paint or rear window.
