Sandero DJF has a clean roof without protrusions or anchoring elements. The bare roof assembly uses feet and a mounting kit that grips the body frame above the doors. Contact surfaces are equipped with protective rubber to protect the paint from scratching.
Before seating the feet, thoroughly wash and degrease the contact points on the door frame. Minor dirt and dust could damage the paint surface under pressure. You can find exact spacing and installation procedures in the attached manual for the specific product.
The DJF generation replaced the previous Sandero II produced from 2012 to 2020. The third series brought a wider track and a completely different roof arch shape, so roof racks from the second generation do not fit the newer car.
For vehicles registered around the turn of 2020 and 2021, check the body code in your vehicle registration document. This will verify whether you own the newer DJF model or the previous version.
Crossbars serve as a support base for a roof box, bicycle racks or ski holders. When choosing accessories, pay attention to the method of attachment to the bars, which uses either a U-bolt around the profile or a T-track in the crossbar.
You must include the weight of the load, the weight of the crossbars themselves and the empty box in the total permitted roof load. This weight limit is specified in the vehicle manual.
