The first generation Evoque rolled off the production line with two roof solutions. Raised rails are easy to recognize because they stand above the bodywork and you can easily slide your fingers underneath them along their entire length.

In 2018, the second generation Evoque L551 came to the market. If your car was manufactured in this transitional year, check the exact designation in your vehicle registration document. The shapes of the roof and door frames changed, and the carriers between these two generations are not interchangeable.
