The C-Class sedan has its crossbar offer divided into three separate generations. The W204 generation model covers production years 2007 to 2014. The following W205 generation variant was produced from 2014 to 2021. The newest W206 generation entered production in 2021.
When selecting, follow the production year recorded in your vehicle registration document. The decisive factor is the vehicle manufacturing date, not the registration date, which is particularly important for cars from transition years.
All sedan generations in our assortment use fixing points. These mounting locations are integrated directly into the roof and determine the exact spacing between the front and rear bar. Each sedan generation has a different roof shape and point layout, therefore mounting feet between individual W204, W205 and W206 series are not interchangeable.
The classic sedan body style offers excellent driving dynamics and a quiet cabin, but the luggage compartment has a fixed lid with a smaller opening. Larger items, ski equipment or bicycles are therefore best carried on the roof. Thanks to the low silhouette of the car, roof accessories are loaded effortlessly, and the car with a load can easily pass even under lower entrances to parking garages.
