Crossbars for the second-generation Renault Twingo in the Open Air version produced from 2014 to 2019. Our offer includes sets designed for bare roofs, which mount directly behind the door frame.
Twingo in this version does not have any factory preparation on the roof. The rack feet rest directly on the edge of the roof and the steel clips tighten behind the body edge under the door seal.
Before installation, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the contact area from dust and small impurities so that sand grains under pressure do not damage the paint. Always check the specific product detail to see what the selected set includes and what parts you will find in the package.
The Open Air version features a retractable roof section. When transporting cargo, keep in mind that operating the roof may be limited with the rack installed. Always check the car manual to see if the manufacturer allows opening the roof while driving with the rack and cargo mounted.
Even a compact city car can carry bikes, skis, or a smaller box for a weekend trip. When loading, remember that the total roof load must also include the crossbars and accessory carriers themselves. The permitted roof weight limit is specified by the manufacturer in the vehicle manual.
