The Subaru Forester SH features raised rails on the roof that stand above the sheet metal. You can easily recognize them by the free space between the rail and the roof, allowing you to easily slide your fingers underneath.
The roof rack feet attach by directly clamping the rail profile. Before seating the feet, we recommend cleaning dust and grease from the surface of the rails so that the rubber contact pads hold firmly in place.
The SH generation was produced until 2013, but the next version hit the market already during 2012. If you own a vehicle from 2012 or 2013, check your vehicle registration document to verify the body shape so you do not accidentally select crossbars for the newer Forester SJ model.
