The current range of roof racks applies to the LY generation, production of which started in 2015. We do not offer the older ET version from 1988 to 1998. The year of manufacture stated in your vehicle's registration certificate is decisive when choosing.
For the Vitara, we carry sets designed for flush rails. This type of rail lies flush against the roof surface along its entire length, so there is no clearance underneath. The rack feet attach directly to the profile of these rails according to the manufacturer's instructions. Thanks to the appropriate body height, both bicycles and roof boxes can be loaded comfortably without having to step on the door sills. If you plan to install a roof box, keep in mind that you must include the weight of the crossbars themselves, the box, and the transported load in the permissible roof load.
