The production date matters, not the model year. Volkswagen introduced the successor to the T-Roc in 2025 and kits from this generation may not fit a brand new car; if your car is completely new, it is better to contact us in advance. If the car has a panoramic roof, also check the manual to see if and how it limits the installation or opening of the roof with a loaded rack. This is vehicle-specific data and varies by trim level.
Crossbars are the base onto which you then mount a roof box, bicycle holders or ski racks. With a roof box, the car will be slightly higher, which you will notice first in underground garages or when entering low courtyards. If you already have a box, choose the crossbars together with it, because accessories attach to their profile and not every clamp fits every shape. Also, the maximum roof load capacity includes the weight of the box and the crossbars themselves in addition to the cargo; you will find the limit in the car manual, and with a full box, you can get closer to it than you might expect.
