The first generation of the Countryman uses flush rails. You can identify this roof type by the fact that the rail lies flat against the roof without any gap, making it impossible to slide your hand underneath the profile.
When selecting, check the manufacturing year listed in your vehicle registration document. Production of the R60 generation ended in 2016. If you have a newer vehicle from the transition years, please verify whether you already own the Countryman F60 model, which uses a different mounting system.
