The second generation of the Škoda Kodiaq comes with a roof featuring flush rails. You can easily recognize this mounting type: the rail lies flat against the roof surface along its entire length with no gap between it and the bodywork to slide your hand through.
The roof rack feet attach directly to the profile of this flush rail. If you own an older model from 2016 to 2024, please check the vehicle generation, because the Kodiaq NS7 uses a different solution and racks are not interchangeable between these versions.
You can mount a roof box, bicycle racks, or ski holders onto the installed crossbars. Before securing your load, check the mounting method of your accessories, as each crossbar profile requires compatible clamping elements.
With a mounted box, account for the increased total height of the car when entering underground garages or covered parking structures. Your total roof load limit must include the cargo as well as the weight of the crossbars and the box itself; you can find the exact roof load capacity in your vehicle manual.
