For the Superb Combi model, the choice of crossbars depends on the production year, as the mounting method has changed. The older generation 3T (2009 to 2015) and the subsequent 3V (2015 to 2024) both use raised rails. These elements are elevated above the roof and you can put your hand underneath them.
The newer generation NZ (from 2023 onwards) switched to flush rails. These lie flat against the roof along their entire length with no clearance underneath, which requires feet with a different gripping profile.
If you have a car from the transitional year of 2015 or 2023, follow the actual manufacturing year in your vehicle registration document, not the date of first registration. Also, take a look at the roof itself—you will recognize the mounting type at a glance.
