Raised roof rails on the Land Cruiser's roof are easy to recognize: they stand above the roof surface and you can easily pass your hand under them along their entire length. The rack foot attaches directly around them and grips them tightly.
Before attaching the feet, we recommend thoroughly cleaning the mounting area from mud, dust, and sand. On an off-road vehicle, dirt accumulates quickly under the rails, and a clean surface reduces the risk of scratching the paint when tightening.
The Land Cruiser is a tall vehicle, so after mounting the crossbars and cargo, expect a noticeable increase in overall height. Be especially careful when entering underground garages, low parking structures, or driving under tree branches off-road.
