The Leon hatchback uses a bare roof, so the roof rack feet mount directly under the door frame using a mounting kit. The Formentor and Ateca crossovers feature raised rails with space underneath, which the foot clamps from the sides. The Leon Sportstourer estate and Terramar SUV have flush rails lying directly on the roof with no gap.

Once the crossbars are installed, you can attach a roof box, bicycle holders or ski racks to the roof. The range includes steel bars that handle rougher use as well as aluminium variants with an aerodynamic profile, which offer quieter airflow on the highway. Aluminium profiles also feature a top T-track in the crossbar for convenient adapter insertion.
