The commercial version K9 uses raised roof rails that stand out above the body profile with a free space between them and the roof. Just try by hand whether your fingers can easily pass underneath them.
During installation, the feet clamp directly around the profile of these rails. Before purchasing, carefully review the detail of each product where you will find the exact package contents and the recommended attachment method.
The van serves for work and the roof rack significantly expands its capabilities. Ladders, installation pipes or long boards that do not fit into the cargo area can be placed right on top.
For regular cargo transport, consider the shape and surface of the crossbars. Specific fastening straps or load stops require a compatible profile, so verify the anchoring method before choosing accessories.
The commercial van is taller than a standard passenger car. After mounting crossbars with a cargo, the total height increases even further, which you need to keep in mind before entering underground garages, car washes or covered building supply yards.
Also do not forget the permitted roof load limit, which can be found in the vehicle's technical documentation. The total limit includes the weight of the cargo as well as the weight of the crossbars themselves.
