For the Doblo K9 model, you can encounter two types of attachment. You can spot the difference with a simple look from the side of the vehicle.
Raised rails stand high and there is a free space between their body and the roof, under which you can easily slide your hand. Flush rails, on the other hand, lie with their entire bottom edge directly on the roof without any gap. Rack sets differ between these two systems in the shape of the feet and the clamping method. Doblo designated as K9 came to the market in 2022 and replaced the older version Doblo 263. Previous generations used different mounting profiles, so crossbars from them may not fit the newer roof. Check the production date in your vehicle registration document to choose the set intended for the correct generation.
Doblo offers a high body structure, which means great interior space, but requires attention when mounting roof cargo. After attaching a roof box or bicycle racks, the overall height of the car increases noticeably. Keep this in mind when entering covered garages, underground parking lots and car washes.
When planning a holiday or material transport, keep in mind that the permissible roof load also includes the weight of the crossbars themselves and the roof box. You can find this limit in the car manual.
