How to recognize flush rails on the EQA

The roof of this model features flush rails. These lie directly on the bodywork with no free space visible underneath along their entire length. The rack feet attach directly to their outer and inner profile.

Before each installation of the rack, we recommend cleaning the contact points from dust and dirt so that the mounting fits precisely and securely.

Cargo transport on an electric car

When transporting cargo on the roof of an electric vehicle, expect a change in aerodynamics. A roof box or bicycles on the roof will naturally increase air resistance, which means slightly higher energy consumption and a shorter driving range. The box will also increase the total height of the car, so pay special attention when entering low underground garages or hotel parking lots.

Check equipment and accessories before purchase

The exact composition of individual sets varies for different products. Check the exact information on what the package contains directly in the selected product detail. If you already have your own box or bicycle racks at home, check whether their mounting system corresponds to the shape and profile of the chosen crossbars.

For vehicles equipped with a panoramic roof, check the manufacturer's recommendations in the car manual regarding its opening while driving with a load.
