For the first generation of this model, the roof racks are mounted on raised roof rails. You can recognize them by the fact that they stand above the roof level, and you can easily pass your fingers between them and the metal sheet along their entire length. The rack foot grips such a rail from both the outside and the inside, which makes proper installation easier.
The Agila belongs to compact cars with a smaller trunk but a taller body structure. That is why owners often add a roof box, bicycle holders, or ski racks to it. However, you must take into account that after loading the box, the total height of the car will increase noticeably. Be especially careful when entering underground garages, low driveways, or under low-hanging branches.

The offer includes crossbars of various shapes and materials. If you already have your own roof box or bicycle racks at home, make sure in advance how they attach to the crossbars. Some mounts require installation into the T-slot on the upper side of the profile, while others use traditional U-bolts wrapping around the entire bar.
