The third-generation Kangoo uses raised roof rails that arch along the roof with free space underneath them. The rack feet are attached by clamping directly around the rail. Due to the height of the bodywork, we recommend using the door sill or a stable step during installation for comfortable access to the tightening mechanism.

The XFK generation went on sale in 2021. If you have a vehicle with this production year in your vehicle registration document, make sure whether you already own the new XFK model or still the previous version Kangoo KW. The older generation had different roof dimensions and rail spacing, so the racks are not interchangeable between them.
Whether you plan to attach a roof box, bicycle carriers or a ladder to the car, check the compatibility of the clamps with the profile of the selected crossbar in advance. Some accessories require mounting into the T-slot in the crossbar, while others are mounted using U-bolts.
The Kangoo is one of the taller cars, and after loading the roof with cargo, the overall height of the vehicle increases significantly. Be especially careful when entering underground garages and car washes. Furthermore, the total roof load limit includes not only the cargo itself, but also the weight of the crossbars and the box; you can find the exact load capacity value in the car manual.
