We offer setups for three generations of this hatchback. The second generation is designated XP9 and covers production years from 2005 to 2011. Its successor was the third generation with the code XP13, manufactured between 2011 and 2020. For newer vehicles, the XP210 generation is intended, production of which started in 2020.
When determining the generation, follow the production year from the vehicle registration document, not the date of first registration or purchase from a used car dealer.
All generations of the Yaris model come from the factory with a design we refer to as a bare roof. This means there are no external elements prepared on the roof, and the rack is secured using feet with a mounting kit under the upper door frame.
The roof shape and door frame profile vary significantly between generations. Therefore, the kit from the XP9 generation does not fit XP13 or XP210. Verify the exact part list directly in the detail of the selected product before purchase.
Thanks to the low silhouette of the car, loading things onto the roof is easy, and you can place bikes or skis into the holders without stretching. If you are choosing a roof box, verify its length. A box that is too long could hit the raised tailgate at the back when opening the boot.
