Compatible sets

Raised roof rails on the estate roof

The CG generation features raised roof rails on the roof. You can recognize them by the fact that they stand above the roof and you can easily put your hand between them and the sheet metal along their entire length.

The roof rack feet are attached by clamping these rails. Before ordering, please check the package contents in the detail of the selected product, as individual sets have different types of feet and bars.

Attaching bicycle carriers and roof boxes

The Golf Variant estate often carries holiday gear, skis, or bicycles. Depending on what cargo you plan to carry, choose the bar profile that will suit your accessories.

When planning roof cargo, keep in mind that the total limit includes the weight of the luggage, the crossbars themselves, and the empty box. This weight limit is specified by the manufacturer in the vehicle manual.

Choosing the right set

You can choose between aluminum bars with a top T-slot and steel profiles. Each option brings a different way of attaching accessories and different driving characteristics.

Choose a roof rack suitable for your needs. If you are looking for racks for older model years of this estate, go to the Golf Variant model range, or browse the offer for the entire Volkswagen brand.
