The EMC brand range uses two different rack mounting systems. The Wave 2 model has flush roof rails that lie directly on the roof along their entire length with no free space underneath. The Sei and Wave 3 models have raised roof rails that stand elevated above the bodywork level, allowing you to easily slide your fingers underneath them.
Because each of these systems requires a completely different type of feet and clamping mechanism, the correct selection begins with choosing the specific vehicle.
Compact crossovers and SUVs: Wave 2 with flush roof rails, Wave 3 with raised roof rails, and the city model Sei also with raised roof rails.
Crossbars form the base on which you can mount a roof box, bicycle carriers or ski holders. You can choose between aerodynamic aluminium profiles equipped with a top T-track for elegant accessory insertion, or robust plastic-coated steel bars. Before purchasing accessories, check their mounting method, as traditional U-bolts may not fit wide aluminium profiles.
