The BA7 model can come with two different roof types. Raised railings stand out above the roof surface with a gap underneath through which you can easily put your hand. The rack foot clamps around them.
Flush rails, on the other hand, lie flat against the roof along their entire length without any gap. The rack is clamped onto them using shaped jaws. Just look at the roof from the side to immediately know which solution your car has.
Although the vehicle underwent a facelift during production, the mounting principle remained the same. If you previously owned the newer Mondeo Kombi MK5 model, the sets from it will not fit because the newer generation uses a different roof shape.
