To select the right roof rack, you need to know the vehicle's production year from the vehicle registration document. We have divided the selection into the first generation designated as K90, which was produced from 1998 to 2008, and the subsequent Pajero Sport model from 2008 to 2012.
Both versions differ in body shape and roof profile. Therefore, the crossbar assemblies are not freely interchangeable between generations.
For the Pajero Sport model, we offer assemblies designed exclusively for raised roof rails. A raised rail stands above the roof surface and creates a free space along its entire length, so you can easily slide your hand under it and wrap it around.
The rack feet clamp directly around the body of the rail. Always check the exact installation procedure and parts list in the specific product manual, as individual assemblies differ in construction.
Pajero Sport is among taller off-road vehicles, which requires better access when loading a roof box, bicycle racks, or camping equipment. An open door sill or a rear wheel step will serve you comfortably.
With a loaded cargo, the car will gain noticeably greater height. Keep this in mind when entering underground garages, car washes, or when parking under low shelters.
