The offer for this version relies exclusively on raised rails, which have free space between the profile and the roof sheet metal itself. When choosing the bar profile, consider what you will be transporting. Aluminium profiles typically feature a T-slot for mounting accessories by sliding in an adapter, while steel square bars require U-bolts to attach bike racks or roof boxes. Kangoo naturally has a higher body than a standard passenger estate. When you load a ladder, building material, or roof box onto the roof, the overall height of the car increases significantly. Keep this in mind before entering underground garages, car washes, or driving under low shelters.
When loading bikes or heavy items, it helps to open the side sliding doors and step on the vehicle sill. Always secure the load with strong straps and check the tightening of the feet to the rails after the first few kilometres of driving. The year 2007 was a turning point for the model as the first generation KC gave way to its successor.
