Citroën uses various roof solutions across its cars. City models like C1, C3 or DS4 generally feature a bare roof, where the feet rest on the bodywork and clamp under the door frame. Some production years of the C4 model or the C4 Aircross crossover have fixed points prepared in the roof. Family vehicles and estates like Berlingo, C3 Picasso, C4 Cactus or C5 Break feature raised roof rails with clearance underneath. On newer cars such as the C5 X or C3 Aircross, you will also encounter flush roof rails that sit directly on the roof without a gap. Large van models C8 and Evasion use a specific anchoring method, which is a T-track in the roof. Each of these solutions requires a different mounting kit and foot shape.

The crossbars themselves form the base onto which you can then mount a roof box, bicycle carriers or ski holders. Aluminum bars with an aerodynamic shape reduce wind noise at high speeds and feature an upper T-track in the crossbar, into which you simply slide the accessory T-bolts. Steel profiles offer high mechanical durability, which you will appreciate when frequently transporting building materials or ladders.
