For this generation, we offer assemblies for a specific mounting type: roof T-track. The vehicle's roof features T-shaped guide tracks into which the rack feet slide and are subsequently firmly secured.
Before installing the rack, check the condition of the tracks along their entire length. Dirt, leaves, or road dust tend to settle in them, which simply need to be washed out and dried before assembly so that the fastening blocks sit completely flush.
The Evasion offers great transport capacity inside, and the roof will serve for bulky loads, bicycle racks, or a roof box for a family holiday. When loading items into the roof box, opening the side sliding door and stepping onto the door sill will significantly make handling in the middle of the roof easier.
After loading your cargo, do not forget about the change in overall clearance height. You need to enter covered multi-storey car parks or low shelters with a sufficient margin.
The assemblies differ in the crossbar profile. Sturdy steel bars with a square profile work well with classic U-bolts, whereas aluminium profiles feature their own top T-track for sliding in adapters from modern sports equipment carriers. Do not confuse the top T-track on the crossbar itself with the T-track used for mounting directly on the car's roof.
