The offer for the Fabia Combi includes three generations produced from 2000 to 2022. The first generation is designated as 6Y and rolled off the production lines between 2000 and 2007. This was followed by the second generation 5J produced from 2007 to 2014. The final version of this estate is the NJ generation from 2004 to 2022.
When determining the correct model, use the manufacturing year in your vehicle registration document. The production date is decisive, as the date of first registration or purchase may be delayed.
All sets for this model rely on the same mounting type, which is raised roof rails. These elements stand above the roof surface with a clear gap underneath through which you can easily slip your hand. The rack foot attaches directly around the rail profile.
Although the principle is the same, the roof shape and rail profile changed between individual generations. Crossbars designed for an older model may not fit a newer one, so choose precisely according to the generation.
A roof cargo box or bicycle holders are most frequently mounted on the Fabia Combi. Loading bicycles is convenient because the roof is not high, and you can reach it without stepping on the door sills.
When mounting a cargo box, pay attention to positioning it further forward. A longer box could restrict the full opening of the tailgate, so it is a good idea to check before tightening whether the boot lid hits the rear of the box.
