We carry setups for the B6/B7 generation, produced from 2005 to 2014. If you own a Passat from this period, verify the exact production date in your vehicle registration document. We do not offer rack setups for older or newer sedan model years.
This selection includes the four-door Passat sedan, which features a bare roof. If you drive an estate, please proceed to the Passat Variant or the more ruggedly styled Passat Alltrack. The different roof construction requires a different mounting system, so setups cannot be interchanged between body styles.
You can safely attach bicycle racks and a roof box to the bare roof of your Passat. The advantage of the sedan body style is the rear trunk lid, which does not interfere with the roof line when opened, so even a longer box does not obstruct access to luggage. Thanks to the standard height of a passenger car, you can load bicycles directly from the ground without needing a step.
