The Volvo V50 left the production line with two roof configurations. Some vehicles have raised roof rails that stand above the roof and allow you to easily slide your fingers underneath along their entire length. Other vehicles have a bare roof without any features, where the rack feet attach under the door frame.
These two systems use completely different rack mountings. If you are unsure, a quick look at the side of the car is enough, or you can send us a photo of the roof and we will help you choose the setup.
Crossbars serve as the base for transporting additional cargo. If you already have older bike racks or a box at home, check their mounting method before purchasing.
