The elevated Volvo V60 Cross Country estate uses flush rails on the roof in both generations. The choice of system depends on the production year of your car, according to which you will select the specific generation.
The V60 Cross Country has two generations. The first generation designated 157 was produced from 2015 to 2018. The newer generation 225 entered production in 2018. If your car was manufactured right at the turn of these years, verify the actual production year in your vehicle registration document. The date of first registration is usually later and is not decisive for choosing a roof rack.
Generation 157 requires a different foot mounting than the newer variant. Proceed directly to generation 157 or generation 225 according to your car.
Both versions of this model have factory-installed flush rails. This type of rail lies directly on the roof along its entire length and there is no free space underneath it. The cross bars are attached using feet shaped precisely according to the outer edge of the roof.

The Cross Country features a higher chassis ground clearance compared to the standard V60 estate. With a load on the roof, the overall height of the car increases, which must be taken into account before entering indoor garages where there is a limited clearance height.
When installing a long roof box, slide the box forward on the cross bars accordingly and check the trunk opening before driving so that the tailgate does not hit the rear of the box.
