Raised rails on the Outlander CW

Stand by the vehicle and look at the roof from the side. Raised rails stand above the roofline, and you can easily slide your fingers between them and the body along their entire length. The rack foot firmly clamps around them during installation.

Before choosing, make sure your car's roof matches this design.

Production year and generation transition

Production of the CW generation took place from 2006 to 2012. Pay extra attention to cars from 2012, when production transitioned and the next version of the vehicle entered the market.

If you have a car from this year, verify the generation code in your vehicle registration document. If you own a newer vehicle, navigate to the Outlander GF category.

Transporting cargo on the SUV roof

The higher body of the Outlander provides good access when securing cargo directly from the door sill. However, once the rack and box are installed, the overall height of the car increases significantly, which must be taken into account when entering underground garages or hotel parking lots.

Always check the exact package contents and mounting method of the specific setup in the product detail.

Choosing crossbars

The sets on offer differ in bar profile design, aerodynamic shape, and locking options. Both aluminum and steel crossbars offer different characteristics when mounting accessories, so choose based on how often you plan to use the rack.

Choose a suitable model and prepare your Mitsubishi Outlander for the safe transport of luggage.
